UNI releases “Brother Love’s Traveling Salvation Show,” and “A Modern Day Version of Love.” (Peaks on the chart at #22.)
March 22, 1969
Neil appears on Dick Clark’s “American Bandstand” show, performing “Brother Love’s Traveling Salvation Show.” This was Neil’s 4th and final appearance on the popular music and dance show.
December 1, 1969
Neil appears on the “Music Scene” television show, performing “Holly Holy” and his current single, “Both Sides Now.” Also appearing on this show is Mama Cass Elliott of the famous pop group, “The Mamas and Papas.”

UNI releases “Brother Love’s Traveling Salvation Show” album. (Initial chart run–22 weeks)

Neil hires a new band, Randy Ceirley (bass), Carol Hunter (guitar), and Eddie Rubin (drums). They immediately begin work in preparation to go on tour.
