  1. This was THE FIRST EVER concert that I had ever seen. I was just 17 years old. I can still remember Neil, and the start of the show. He wore dark pants and a shinny blue shirt. I can still see him introduce a ‘young’ Jesse to the audience. He even got on TOP of the piano and sang, ‘Dancing in the Street’. I just remember screaming and yelling thoughout the show. When he sang ‘Song Sung Blue’ the audience moved to the music and where clapping their hands to the beat of the music. I remember buying the tickets; I had just graduated from high school and they were a present to me, from me!!!!! I still have the ticket stub……..

  2. My first time seeing the Vocalist as well. He had the Salvation Army band playing Christmas songs in a special section side stage that night. I particularly remember “Winter Wonderland” with all of us with our keys out-jangling our “sleigh bells” on cue. (I was so pleased to hear the song on “Stages” because I have never been able to adequately describe how magical that song was that night). One special thing I remember: everybody was smiling as they left the show, EVERYONE!! The best Christmas ever.
