1) He's in good health.
2) He's not planning on giving up performing for us anytime soon.
3) This will be much easier on him and his band who have spent many, many nights, weeks, weekends and months on end away from their families, loved ones and friends in order to bring the music TO US.
Although I am most thrilled that he's feeling great enough to make such a long-term commitment of this sort; personally, I can't find anything positive in this decision of his for me.
