More than a quarter-million people saw Diamond perform in 14 concerts, capped by his farewell performance outdoors at the Sydney Sports Ground, which was televised live in its entirety throughout the country. Approximately one out of four people (4 million) saw the concert on television and 38,000 saw it live.
